Topic: Apostrophes and ç become < and ] in certain Windows Live Programs

Once in a while and randomly, in certain programs, I can't seem to type apostrophes anymore with my standard shift-coma nor can I type ç with the usual button just over the enter key. There are also problems with accents. The only programs where it has manifested up to now are Windows Live Messenger and Windows Live Mail and they don't appear simultaniously. Right now, my Messenger is stuck with that problem while I can type in firefox without a problem and WLMail also seems to be working fine, and it started doing that in the middle of a conversation. Do you have any idea on the cause or a fix for it? Rebooting the program seems to work but it's still a drag since I have to end my conversations / rewrite my messages. By the way, I use French Multilingual Standard windows configuration on a standard american layout keyboard.

 I dunno about your specific issue, but maybe this will give you something to go by. Yesterday I got a call froma client that there spellcheck would challenge everything no written in French, I haven't found the problem yet, but I woke up to another email about close to the same thing, only it's system wide.

 I would ask you as I have them, do you use outlook, and is this problem persisting there as well ? The one persons issue is system wide, the others is just in word , and outlook.

Quite interesting. I don't use word much so I can't tell if it happens in there, but if it does, I'll post it here. Keep me posted if you find any possible solutions.
