Anonymous poll as usual, your mature thoughts are appreciated. I'm certain others would enjoy hearing your opinion.

If this thread gets childish, it will be placed in the abyss with others of the sort. So lets see how long we can allow it to be open. Any sabotage will be treated as it's not there, because it wont be.

There is poll after poll on the news, on the radio blah blah, for the better part , many people feel that there biased , and cannot trust them. Do you trust what you hear on the nightly news, or the radio station that your listening to  ?  What gives your choice of news input more validity over the next ?

Of all the bunches of apes we have had in the office, these top all others.

My biggest 'present' beef is health insurance we have to pay for that is not good enough for the politicians to use that are voting on the same exact bill. If its good enough for us why not them too? Bunch of ass wipes.  tickedoff

With the health bill I've got to agree with the above comment.  Myself they need to fix the health care system first.  Why so many prices for the same procedure.  As an example my wife had to have a tooth pulled.  The first dentist she called wanted $340 for one tooth.  The cheapest she found was $175.  The one that was $175 is were we went of course and we also got a free prescription for the pain medication that would have been another $65.  This is the problem with the health care here.  Everyone charging what they want to charge because for the most part they can.  If they could get everyone to charge in the same area health insurance would be cheaper.  If people weren't so quick to sue and let the doctor have chance to fix the problem health insurance would be cheaper.  Hope this did not deter the the direction of the post.

Nope, not at all.  Smile The way you presented your argument should be an icon for those in office that actually make decisions for us.

This is the thing, in my thoughts, yea, healthcare needs some work, granted, not in the hands of the government. Regulations on law suits, defiantly, ask a doctor what they think of most when treating you, i did, and they all said the same thing.  "We over-treat, we over prescribe, we do too many test, because if we don't , then we may be sued for not catching something " . A couple I spoke with also added something to the effect of, no, not in the hands of the politicians that are ruled by money.

I believe that the poll should be rearrange to have more moderate opinions. For example, I was forced to vote 50/50 because there are some policies I'm not sure about, but I support the administration more than I criticize it by an important margin. I just can't say they are perfect. On the other side, if you hate their guts for some reason (health care for example), it's much easier to say you disagree with 100% of the decisions they make, even though that includes the eventual dismantlement of Guantanamo among other things.

The other problem is the media is into this "Health Care" issue that we do not see anything else they are doing or not doing.  Typical of a media driven empire.  We only see and know what they want us to know.

I'm afraid that it's not just a problem with a media driven empire. It's also the fact about any media that things that do not polarize people don't sell as much, so you don't hear about the policies that everyone agrees on or that are just not interesting. Even though we are living in a media driven empire, it's still possible to get your information from different (and conflicting) news sources, say both Fox, which leans to the right, and some left leaning news channel (I don't know what they are in the US, CNN?), and just to make sure get an independent news source such as Globalpost (http://www.globalpost.com/) and you should be all set to be able to make your own assessment on a subject that you see in the news.

So the choice " some things yes, others no" doesn't work ? Alright, in a few words, what would be a good "choice" to allow one to vote moderately ? Id'e be glad to take suggestions.

AFAIK, in the US, you have FOX, representing the middle right, and well, every other news media out there , other then maybe a few scattered radio stations here and there,  pumping out left to , way left views. This , from me watching "good morning america" , everyday, FNC, CNN, and switching between a few others when i need to, listening to clear channel, which is known to be mid right ownership, and whatever other biased outlets I can get my ears on. See personally, there are very few, and I mean very few that actually send the real message anymore, there are a couple, I think, but even then, you can sense something there that we all know is nothing more then BS propaganda.

In cse your wondering, yea, I'm a media mess, and yea, there's more then three screens in front of me , imagine how many windows I have open at times grin you can actually watch "breaking news" on two or more channels at the same time, and there all telling a slightly different story  :haha: :haha:  It's my hobby, and entertainment.

A "mostly so" and a "mostly not" option would be appreciated, even if I can't change my vote.
