Partition Magic not seeing drives???

Well the other day i had to do a clean install of Windows xp home. Well i have my Hard Drive set into two partitions One with xp and the other with vista. I was using windows vista bootup manager, and i was going and try and use partition magic to do this.  Partition magic isnt seeing my two partitions??? What can cause this?
