well here's mine and I know it's later but a bit worse than I usually (100to 120KB/s) get too. I just wish.....they could be a bit more consistent and really cared about us private/home users as much as they do their business accounts.

My signal strength is rarely over  60  (usually 55-60)    However if your cross pol is good then snow and rain should not effect your signal strength by more than 5 points (as long as snow doesnt build up on your dish i have to sweep mine off during storms )  FOG FOG FOG however is a killer so if you live in an area with lots of usually thick clouding or FOG then your signal will suffer - good luck all

My speed has increased slightly, not to what you guys are reporting but it is better then my last post, its a reletivly clear day outside, no snow, no fog and no rain and a signal strengh of 64, was 78 on install a few weeks ago.
Not sure whats going on with it, even with a direct connection to myDW6000 its still lame......

You guys are getting terrible speeds are you all running the dw 6000 are you all on the same sat .  Ive been a direcway customer for almost a year I bought a dw 4000 private sale for 100 cash if the 6000 dl are that slow I would look into a 4000 on ebay or look through the classified .

On that 4000, did you used to own a 6000 dw and switch? Or did you have the 4000 to begin with?

Sounds to me he bought it to begin with, I bought this 6000 system and cant go to a 4000, it stands me in some $700 and I just cant throw that away, I am happy with the download speeds now, its the upload I have issues with, I called DWay before I bought this system and they told me its an average of 500 down and 50 up, now the 50 up was better then my dial up, seems like its about the same and they will not do anything about it.
I heard from my installer that d-way is working on the upload speed to match download speeds, maybe equal it out a bit, I dont know if he was blowing smoke up my ass or what!
DWay is looking to convert everyone to this 6000 unit, they have more control over what you can do and when with it, I am looking around for some hacks for this system, as yet have found nothing apart from one that gives me more information on the system and the setup page located here.... http://192.168.0.1/f...d/advanced.html some intersting stuff in there!
If anyone has any information on hacking this unit, I would love to hear it.
