Im running with windows 98 on one comp and windows xp on another
was told that i was going to get download spead 2x cable (yeah right)
i was tild to go here for a test and seen taht u can make ur speed faster but have no ideal what im doing HELP I Cant Play My Games !!!!

Well that helped a bit but not as much as i would like
im using direcway (DW6000)
my signal strength is only running 76% should i adjust my dish and try to get better ???

Ah you using DW, i have no tweaks for satellite

So uninstall the tweaks that you have with cablenut by opening adjuster and click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry and reboot.

Now search here http://www.dslreport...m/faq/satellite

and here http://www.dslreports.com/forum/sat

for a good setup

We have a few ppl here that use DW, try the DW forum here aswell

If you want to get into online gaming, satellite really isn't the way to go. The time it takes for the signal to travel back and forth to the satellite is just way to long to get any reasonable ping times.

Welcome to the site, as you have been told a sat connection is not really the way to go for gaming, although this may be your only option....but you do have what is normal for your type of connection....good luck hope you enjoy the site and tell your friends...
