What sattelite are you on?

What's your signal?

Do you have any spyware or viruses that might be slowing you down?

"The world is like a ride at an amusement park.  And when you choose to go on it, you think its real because thats how powerfull our minds are.  And the ride goes up and down and round and round.  It has thrills and chills, and its very brightly coloured , and its very loud and its fun, for a while.  Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question - is this real, or is this just a ride?  And other people have remembered, and they come back to us.  They say, 'Hey! Dont worry, dont be afraid, ever, because, this is just a ride.'

I don't really know what satelite I am on and I don't believe I have any viruses or spyware I check it daily sometimes twice a day.
I live in PA that is all I can tell you as far as what satelite you may know.  If there is a place to find it I will gladly look for it.
My signal strength is 65
Thanks

I am sorry I thought you meant location of satellite.  I don't know a lot of this stuff.  I work with them on my job and not on them as in learning a lot about how it all works.  I just know it is not as it was advertised LOL.  Of course I may never have cable or DSL where I live so I am hoping that maybe there is something I can do to speed this up.  I appreciate your trying to help me.  Thanks

hmm..you're on AMC3, which is one of the better satellites.  Havn't heard of any problems on that sat...

Do you know if the installer properly grounded your system?

Another thing to try is:

http://192.168.0.1/fs/advanced/advanced.html

Tell us what your rate code is...

and click on force range @the bottom right and see if that improves your speeds...

I would make sure that the tech comes back out lol...

Another thing to make sure of, is that the dish is peaked for both horizontal transmit and recieve, since the transponder you are on requires it...

Also...post your info at this site, lots of experts here
