I was a 4/512 user and have been officially increased to 6/512 ;) - Cox is great !

still waiting here I'm on "4/512" but I not even get close tried Cablenut with no difference on speed but sometimes i get pass 4 down cant complaint I guess

Try powercycling your modem, sometimes you need to restart it for an upgrade to be in effect.
