I have money left over from Christmas and wondering should I upgrade my graphic card or wait?
I already have 1 evga 7800gt and looking for more in call of duty 2. The funny things is that I get over 8000 of a score in 3dmark05 and my computer still slow!!! (in game like COD2 and F.E.A.R).
Should i upgrade to another 7800gt or wait to the summer for the next new card?
Thanks again

r u kidding that 7800gt is lagging for you....i dont beleive it. BTW wat r ur specs?
If u were able to get over 8000 in 3dmark05 then ur card should be flying.
When u say slow wat do u mean? in what way?
I would just keep the card the way it is now because most games dont even use use the full potential of the 7800 gt let alone is sli mode...
O yeah the reason the games may be slow would either be due to lack of memory or cpu power.
waiting for a next gen graphics card may take awhile becuase ati released there x1800 series and well nvidia relaesed there 7800 series(7800gtx 512 mb being the fastest)

amd 3000+ 64 venice overclock to 2.73GHz on stock hsf (getting aftermarket heatsink this weekend)
1024mb (512mb*2 dual channel) 450MHzddr
EVGA 7800gt clock at 492MHz core 1.18 memory (getting after market fan sometime this week)
evga nforce 4 sli mobo
160GB sata 2 hardrive
It seems just slow to me in the game sometime and I love my rich friends yelling at their parents because my computer had better graphics than their xbox 360!!!

P.s might upgrade processors but in benchmark beats fx55 and a littly short to the fx57

What mother board do you have? VIA, Intel, etc?

You might want to use CAS Latency 3 and stop overclocking, that'll make it more stable, especially since you have a stock hs.

Is the issue, low fps... Or does it stutter alot? Low fps is the graphics card while if it stutters it is ram or settings.
