Just ran a test on my RoadRunner 5.0Mbit cable connection: 27+Mbits, here is my 30 day history:

http://www.testmy.net/tools/database/s_engine.php?type=user_name&q=longrifle

So you can see I didn't run the test then hit the back button. Upload is still 384Kbps, gotta be the most assymetrical connection in history, rofl. Great pings 24/7 for CounterStrike:Source to a load of busy servers in the texas area from Louisiana, 20-30ms.  RoadRunner treats me good, don't know about anybody else. Heard all sorts of nightmare stories about cable back when I had dsl, shared connections, high pings, low bandwidth at peak hours, none of that for me, just high bandwidth low ping goodness all the time. I know most people aren't going to get 27mbits when paying for 5 though.

I just went & did a couple .I know the first one is not correct.I don't cache tests & as far as I know it is not possible to cache a test with dial-up on the main server.I can cache them at some of the mirrors if I want to.My test time of day is a little off I guess I need to go into my profile & adjust the time.

Those are cached, sorry. Delete your cache, and clear cookies. If you don't know how to download it just run ccleaner www.ccleaner.com . Then post back Very Happy

They were done AFTER clearing my cache so how can they be cached  Question

because the most your ISP offers is 8Mbps and you got 46Mbps. that doesn't happen unless the speeds are cached or you have a web accelerator on your computer.

Well I have NO accelerator and the following link the to the package I am on:
http://tinyurl.co.uk/aa9v

Until Thurs and a call to BT BB UK tech I was getting poor speeds around
1.8meg to 1.9meg and 8hrs after the call they "changed the mapping" which
corrected my stuck/reverted profile (was 2meg customer before) and BT
Broadband's own speedtests are giving at  max 5.5meg to 5.7meg at varying
times but usually around 4meg most other times!

I am now day 23 post regrade to 8meg speeds Exclamation

Plus my last post includes the log of my tests today since I signed
up here as Cloudedbrains confused1

Sorry for causing hassle but the speed test aint working here for me at all Exclamation
The ONE test I did of a mirror site is closer BUT still no where near accurate Confused
