Recommended Tests

I was remembering the good OLE days of playing star -trek over the local college satellites, In addititon to the old faithful dial up connection. My how times have changed.

Due to recent internet problems, poor customer service, i had with Comcast I decided to check out my speeds. Although Comcast customer service may be lacking in my opinion. My internet service it self( download & upload speeds) and over all reliability is OUTSTANDING as always.

Here are my results using- Comcast cable modem rca 425c connected to a  linksys wireless router -in addition too this computer( OS vista hm pre, my computer (pc tablet) for my tv is running full time internet, as well as my other home computer. using basic broadband from Comcast.

Wow, look at that upload !!!!  What is your advertised speed caps?

You have more than that I have to say, there would be no way to get past the caps by that much. I am interested, I love this stuff

Running xp sp3 pc tablet version compaq tc 1100 bought in 005 i believe

Not a huge diffenences having internet directly hooked up to my main computer- Running vista HMP...I find Greater internet speeds with Xp. I have no knowledable explanation- other than experience with both OS's

I know very little about CAPS , other than a little research on broadband modems, but i declined any further interest once i read you can get band from Comcast for modem hacking. Other than that all i've done is play with some setting, I don't even recall what setting's,lol.

My Wife confirmed we have the cheapest Comcast internet package ( She's half jewish) no racism intended, just repectful of money managing skills:)
