no they dont unless you have a few thousand a month to spare for a T-3 from them so no they dont offer that speed to residential customers.  they might offer upto 15 mb download in some area's that fios is available but not in others so what package do you have cause i checked your scores and the scores you are posting are cached.

Cool .. hey let me know how to cure that ... if ,,, i ,,, need... t..o..hmm

i have had few you "experts" refer over an over "cached" now i understand the term - though not as it pertains to download tests.

Please explain what is happening, and, if need be, the cure.
thanks gentlemen

the 1st thing that usually does that is a firewall so do you have a firewall?  norton, kerio, zone alarm or kaspersky?  an internet accelerator like google's internet accelerator will give you cached results.  a cached result means that your comp has that file stored on it already so when you click it on the web it grabs it off your comp instead giving you faster results than you should get.

do a test here and tell me what you get cause i never seen this test get a cached result but this site does get them here and there but can be more accurate than other sites..  ;) ;)

pick the closest 1 to you and post back your results

It's probably cached, try to clear your cache on internet explorer by tools, internet options, clear cache.  Or try another speed test, like http://speakeasy.net/speedtest/

Your right, they are not correct if you are on a 8Mbps package. Clean your browsers cache and retest. BTW welcome to testmy Cloudedbrains.
