I have Dlink 604, is it old? Here what it says when I go in it. Gives you an idea of it. The DI-604 is an Ethernet Broadband Router ideal for home networking and small business networking. The setup wizard will guide you to configure the DI-604 to connect to your ISP (Internet Service Provider). The DI-604's easy setup will allow you to have Internet access within minutes.

I have a D-link DI-524.  I know I'm not exactly an expert on this but I really don't like it, the signal strength is pretty low.

Netgear WGR101
Got it for $10.. hate this piece..  Getting it to work for once connection.. awesome! 2 connection pain in the ass.  The real funny thing is that it didnt ship with the latest firmware update on it.

Belkin Wireless Router (F5D72304)
•802.11g technology
•Up to 54Mbps in turbo mode
•Built-in 4-port switch
•Firewall security
•Easy-install wizard
•Range up to 1800'
I got the from circuitcity for $39.99 I got them to match the price from Best Buy.
I have it connected to my cable modem and from the router I have my desktop pc connected via cat5 and a WPA network set up for my Inspiron 9300. the router is great it was easy to set up. I have had it for about three weeks now and it is always on and have never had a single issue with it. I also have used Linksys, D-Link, and Netgear routers and switches and this one has the nicest interface and is the easiest to set up.

I have a Linksys WRT54G router and for the most part it works well. However, I have experienced a problem recently. It slows down to almost nothing (as slow as 5Kbps). My satellite provider ran some tests, replaced the radio and that didn't fix the problem. But when he powered down the router and powered it up again, it began to work properly. I have had to do this a few times since. Does anyone know what the cause of this problem is?

I use a Linksys BEFSR81 8-port router and use a Linksys WAP-11 access point for my wireless.
Have been using both for about 7 years now and have never had any problems to speak of except when there is a power outage or a brownout, then I have to reset everything. As long as you keep the firmware updated and the units stay reasonably cool they perform very well.
