Dway well not show me my speed they turn me off and freeze ever test i take  I have not down load a big file laty I didnt say this was my speed i am most likeing brusting but i am looking if some one wound give me a big test file to do i well i like the big speed but if its not real then i dont need it

M16:  When you say DWay freezes you and turns you off - How do you mean???
About 50% of the time my DWay test will not go to completion - Always on download. It may get in the middle of 200KB and all modem activity stops Rx and Tx. or it may go on to 400KB and the modem just sits there 10 min. or more - nothing. Start over and might make it thru. Usually happens when at the beginning of the test(download) - it doesn't start at 56KB - it starts at 300KB then usually the test doesn't complete.  If it starts at 56KB usually will complete. YES, I'm watching the monitor real, real close looking for the 56KB..  Yours anything like that?? Just curious.

It might have something to do with Java(myDirecWay test).  Make sure you have the latest version of the Java Runtime environment installed.

I have the latest ver. on the Web( I think ). Had that struggle with DWay.

I test my speed on toast.net, mytest.net and also DirecWay. I believe DirecWay shows the correct speed. The other two sites show speed to be 500 to 700 Kbps faster than DirecWay. Some sites show higher speeds, just so you will test on their site. That way the sites gets more hits. Hope this helps.
