after you apply a setting when you overclock should you wait a lil to let it heat up to what it will be.

i managed to get my 6600gt(stock 500 core and 1.00 mem) to 595 core and 1.19 mem w/out artifacts,   which is pretty amazing if u ask me.

thats a big diff than the normal 6600, i like the 6600 but now i wish i would of looked harder.... it was supposed to be for my bro but then it didnt work for his so i got it for free. not bad
