Hey guys i noticed nobody really posts in game discussion, but i have the feeling alot of people check to see if someone posts here  Razz.. so i made this thread for people to share there favorite 1.6 servers or there own

I just finished setting up a dedicated and for 2 weeks itll be up 70% of the day on 8mb/512 connection.. in 2 weeks the box will be upgraded to amd 2800+ xp 1gig ram and uptime will be 100%

Me and my cousin are the admins and its a 24/7 Dust2, Inferno, Aztec rotation

IP: 68.204.158.191:27015
Admins: HeLLFiRe & ErNBuRn

Hope to see a few people there and for some to post in this thread

1.6 is more fun in my opinion. If you want crazy HD graphics play source. But if you want solid competitive gameplay that is what 1.6 is all about.

Source has alot more bugs and the hitbox's are larger. Also when u get shot you move ur gun and lose control of ur shot.

If you want graphics and complete realistic action then source is the game for you.

But if you want Smooth competitive gameplay that tests pure skill 1.6 is what you should play.


P.S. I purchased source as soon as it came out and i didnt find it very much appealing. Having played it from when it came out even though its called Counter Strike source its not even close to the same game.

Source is too easy.(period)
If you have been playing 1.6 for a while and are good, then u switch to Source man everything is so esasy because everything is easier to hit and everything is like in slow motion to me.
thats why 1.6 is the S#!t test ur skills, own some noobs, have some fun, and thats what 1.6 is all about

you can download it from steam if you have a steam account. it takes a while though.
but i would just buy it again...i got cs 1.6 dod, cs:cz, and cs condition zero deleted scenes for 20 dollars.

I want to download a good copy of 1.6 if anyone has some good links, reliable or ftp.

Its been long since i played and have some FPS fans on my LAN i'd like to intro the game to

Even FTP would be great. Password of course. Or PM me that last bit.
