I'm thinking that Microsoft has underestimated the level of infection on this.  I was fortunate enough to discover the varient on my pc's yesterday (oddly enough) and I do not engage in any high risk surfing whatsoever on these boxes.  Still trying to backtrack which one of the "safe" sites that I've visited was so kind enough to share the goodness.... Smile

the best fix you can use is just go to use firefox or opera.

Well that's not an option for me...the applications I use require IE only.  But an update is pending so no worries....

probably, since that uses the IE engine.  Not 100% sure on this though. (btw, it doesn't affect the plugin, it affects what the plugin uses)
