I have a question about DNS and domains. Lets say i have a website located at www.example.com, and a dynamic DNS website located at www.example.dynamicdns.com using port 81 as a webserver, so when you type the full website address it would look like:

www.example.dynamicdns.com:81/

I want www.example.com to point to www.example.dynamicdns.com and if you type www.example.com:81 it would connect to www.example.dynamicdns.com:81. I do not want to use web forwarding, as I want to use port 81.

So what do i use in my registar's configuration?

Cname? MX? Nameservers?

The DNS server you have will have to contain a alias or (Cname) record eg........say your on the domain www.dynamicdns.com (on the server) ...In dns for the SOA record right click and create a Cname/Alias with www.example
