to test the reliability of the service and compare services from the same location which alot of peole cant do and i have alot of options to choose from and fios is next on my list.  i also always have a 2nd line for a backup with a different isp just incase 1 goes out the other shouldnt go out.

i canceled covad so thats $300 a month less but last month internet alone was about $475 but this month should be about $175
