if you want to set up the hole web/ftp server check out http://apache2triad.net/ it has everything you want except the proxy server. for that i would recomend using ccproxy.

See http://www.portforward.com for forwarding ports.  What did you open your ports on?

its real easy, i didnt have these problems
i got wrt54g, forwarded but didnt even need that, as it worked without it though, i forwarded ports, 20-22 just to be tough, try it maybe
id still try it if you havent already
firewall on the comp, change it or something as well
allow the ftp server to get connections if its not
and u sure you got the right ip address, just checking all possiblites

Go to your routers configuration page...go to the port forwarding section..in one of the empty areas..type ftp..forward ports 20-21 and enter the ip of the computer your using..so if lets say 192.168.1.100 enter 100..then hit apply and see if it works

BTW...almost everything else Cerberus FTP sets up automatically
