I like many others on the Comcast network have been experiencing slow speeds so today I'm going to go down and change out my modem in hopes that there is something wrong with my modem...

I will keep you guys informed as to if the new modem helped or not

Currently using an SB5120

If everything seems ok, than you can ignore those messages. By the way, that error message is dated 4/13/06.

I know, didnt have a newer copy of the error message, this was just one that I saved to my computer to show the tech who came out to my house. I've noticed it for a while, and then one day was talking to a tech and he said that its the modem thats not able to "range" whatever that means... So it lead me to believe that my modem was bad so I promptly replaced it and now I'm back up to speed Very Happy
