i don't think this is a good idea, because it helps you the seller make money, but it really doesn't give anything back to the site.

it can give traffic back to the site. and ca3le can always charge a fee. but seriously, a want ads section might not be a bad idea.

I'm gonna be serious for a change , I guess this will not effect me much, being I'm in the UK, BUT , want ads style sounds the way to go, as we can all do the auction bit on G-bay,
I think this is a big step for testmy.net, would be good to buy from buddy's
but it just worries me that TMN, may have some problems if things go wrong,
also I just hope it would not affect the unbiased help that is freely given ,
i.e. you need more ram  ,it's your lucky day, I just happen to have some for sale , type of thing,
sorry to sound pessimistic, but testmy.net is IMHO the best forum going,
just hate to see it hit problems in any way

I see your point Roco.  I too wonder how things might go bad and affect the quality of the site overall, especially if there is a bum deal, and ppl fued, and then we are somehow responsible for making things right.  I personally have not made up my mind on whether I'm down with this idea or not.
