I have heard from Tele-Media (which is Adelphia in my area) that they were bought out by Comcast. My friend almost got a job at Tele-Media and he heard the samething while getting his interview. Im not too sure on this because first I didn't get any information on this from Adelphia and second they are setting up their new Extreme package.

Comcast and Time Warner have been working out the details to cooperatively buy out Adelphia, who went bankrupt in 2002, for some time.

I have had trouble finding whether the deal has been officially finalized and the transaction made.  But aside from the legalities, Adelphia has accepted the $17.6 Billion deal.
