If you could have 1 wish come true what would it be..... only 1 wish...



I thought this may be a fun little thread.  What would you wish for?  Be sure to read the rules, you know there are rules to wishing evil6.

Rules:
  • Can't be money or monetary in any way...
  • Can't be an object (no cars or cool 'stuff')
  • Your wish can't be a wish for mankind... so don't say "peace on earth" or "end world hunger"


So, make your wish ... maybe it will come true.

No tears - she's been gone 5 1/2 years but that is still my wish - I do miss her and she was my best friend.

It’s a sad day when a person cannot relate to another person. You ask Yourself “where did the humanity go”, and then you wonder why you have to ask… and then the guy next to you wants to steal your wallet. If you think about it, we are truly the sum of everyone, therefore without remembering our own humanity, we let go of ourselves. I would have wished for something silly until you woke me up, but now I realize I have nothing to wish for. I recognize that I made some mistakes, and so did other people. BUT, at the end of the day, we all learned from it, and became better.

You woke me up, and I appreciate it.

Well you were lucky to have had that.  I hope that one day I find a girl that I not only love but who will also be my best friend.  ---- you were truely lucky to have found that, it's too bad it didn't last forever.

Then I hate to tread on other people's ground. But I wish I clould still be with my two first born children who died at 1 1/2 months (boy) and 2 1/2 months (girl). First in 2-2-82, the second was a bad memory with her mother so I do not remember the date, but it was about 1992.
They died of crib death. But life goes on as I sit here and cry. But now I have 2 beautiful young daughters that I love very much. So all is cool.

i wish for just one more "one on one day" with each my best friends...
my husband
my mother
my father

actually a day with each of my grandmothers would be great...
and since i never knew my grandfathers i'd like to go to dinner with both of them at the same time...

wait...how many wishes do i get...okay this is it...to be able to spend a day with whoever i want when i want whether they are living or passed Very Happy ...i miss so many that are gone...and i have things i need to talk to them about

live each day as if it's your last...love each moment like it's your first...observe everything like you've never seen it before and will never have the opportunity to see it again

yeh me too...reality check...helped me realize how much i already have...and how hard it was to come up with a wish that wasn't for personal gain...i like these wish threads...but i like the rules in this one...makes it harder...makes ya thankful...

All I really want in life (and I guess this would be my wish) is for me to live long enough to see my kids graduate and then live as long as need be after that as needed for my wife to be safe and happy.

I don't have anything for myself to wish for. Sad I know my children will receive and get what they need because they have an outstanding support group... I know the people I care for need to learn their own lessons... I know I need to learn mine. Death, despair, everything has a purpose, whether it be God, fate or the natural order of things, I know it is needed. It makes me sad that good people get hurt, but that is what makes us all learn, and therefore is the way of things.

I could wish every single person on this site be happy and long lived (and a part of me hopes for that) but I know it won't happen, so truly I can only wish that everyone lives the least painful life possible while they get and learn what they need....

I'll try one.
I'm going on a cruise to Alaska in late July. I wish that I can meet at least one person on the cruise and help him/her resolve a major conflict in their life. And become a true friend to them.

I wish to at least see my Grand kids long enough through their life, to at least remember me by. My daughters are 5 & 6, and I am 47.
