Im not much of a pro on Hijack This but the first thing that popped into my mind when hearing your problems is your power settings. Do you have hibernation or sleep turned on? When you say freeze what do you mean? You leave and its fine come back and the screen is still on but nothing works?

No, I do not have a sleep or hibernation mode set up, but actually I just froze right now when I reloaded a web site. When I say freeze I mean like completely lock up where I have to shut the power down to restart. I have scanned and cleared any virus/spyware daily but still get the problem.

Just one processor, AMD 3000+, fans are working and doesnt look to be overheating but the freezes happen at very awkward times, like just now I rebooted and opened firefox and it froze, did it again and no problems

Wats funny is i had a very similar problem aswell.  Especially when i am and when I am using wmp and FF it just locks up completely.  For me the culprit was my wirless adapter.
