i dont know whats going on but with Comcast in my area i cant get into a few websites that i know of.  it just times out.  the web sites from this ip number thing.  (207.58.181.234) i go to a couple websites that are through that number.  offtopicz.com and moddedmustang.com  both are on the same server.

i try to ping it and i get 100% loss and havent been able to get in to it for a few days now and went over to my friends house(lives less then a half a mile from my house that has Comcast and he cant get into either with alot of his sites too.  so i doubts its on my end.

with reading around the net i see Comcast has DNS issues.  could this be the problem???

is there anything i can do to beable to get into these websites.  thanks so much.

welcome to the forum Haus.

they load fine for me, it might have just been a DNS issue with Comcast. if it still does it, give Comcast a call.

thanks guys.  its all settled now. it was a Comcast issue.  but its resolved now.
