Bad thing about satelite, it is effected by storms that you aren't aware of.  Sad

If I believe that my system is being effected by a storm I go to this website http://www.thewbalchannel.com/index.html  It is a local tv station webpage located in Baltimore which is very close to the NOC. You can click on Live Doppler on the left of the page.

My Web Acceleration has been dropping out at night on the weekends lately between the hours of 11-12. Fortunately, it's only on the weekends, and it doesn't normally last longer than about 30 minutes. I think it might be due to the amount of people on, but I don't know.

I also still have the problem of my modem restarting all by itself. I've tried emailing HughesNet support, but it never F#@&ing works.

BTW, I'm on the 7000 not 6000. I've just decided to vent in this thread.

"The world is like a ride at an amusement park.  And when you choose to go on it, you think its real because thats how powerfull our minds are.  And the ride goes up and down and round and round.  It has thrills and chills, and its very brightly coloured , and its very loud and its fun, for a while.  Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question - is this real, or is this just a ride?  And other people have remembered, and they come back to us.  They say, 'Hey! Dont worry, dont be afraid, ever, because, this is just a ride.'

Bird Fan 7000 or 6000, not much difference except U/L anyway. Heck I vent in all of the Dway forums, no appologies necesary.
And you were on the 6000 before anyway. So your help is needed at times.
Thanks.  Very Happy
