Hi Cholla , you are +31 F over me, we are about seasonal ave. just a bit wetter than normal for Oct. our clocks change to GMT (-1HR ) soon,
so it will be dark at 5.50 pm,
is it possible for this "it's hot" to be changed to "whats your weather "  or something similar , as I am sure you guys will see some dramatic changes this winter, the UK normally has a temp. band of 86F max - 27F min
normal winter daylight temp. in Jan. our coldest month is around 37F

Been rather warm here also, upper 90's too.
Wonder if they see a boat going down the main street in front of the queens castle, if they would figure to raise the hosepipe ban?? laughing7

Hi and Thanks Cholla , 45F in Amarillo,  is that about average for Oct. ?
The forecast for Hampton (TW12), United Kingdom on Friday: sunny intervals. Max Temp: 17°C (62°F), Min Temp: 12°C (53°F), Wind Direction: SW, Wind Speed: 12mph, Visibility: moderate, Pressure: 991mb, Humidity: 67%, UV risk: low, Pollution: medium, Sunrise: 07:32BST, Sunset: 18:00BST

I guess the south of England has a small range of seasonal temp's.
just as long as that Gulf stream keeps on flowing,
BTW in a weeks time we finish British Summer Time (BST) and revert to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) so clocks go back 1Hour then ,
P.s. I will try and get my weather forcast from London Heathrow,
as the visability, Moderate ,LOL , depends on whether  I have a hangover or not  Laughing

We are not encouraged to have bonfires in the UK ,and there are laws as to when and where , we have to pay the local council to remove such things, the upshot of that is every scenic  place  has tons of rubbish dumped on it at night  angry5
If you hire a builders skip, you have to put a night guard on it otherwise   it will be full by the morning , and that isn't a joke ,
I think our Gov is worried the if the peasents have a garden fire , it could lead to naked houswives dancing around it, , now that has given me a idea  Laughing

We have the same problems here in large overpopulated cities. Including old tires, leaves, brush, old house furniture, house remodeling debris, etc...in a never ending spree. Then once a month the city comes by and cleans it up. You would figure that if they just leave a builders skip (dumpster here) they would only have to pick up the trailer, but instead they have send out extra equipment and men to do the job the hard way.  angry5 My hard earned tax dollars at work.
