My down ranges from 9.5mb to 7.7mb usually, from different times of the day.  My up is great!  For the most part I am happy with my service.  I am using a Motorola SBV-5220 VOIP and Cable modem, connected to a Linksys WRT54G v.2 running DD-WRT v23 SP1.

Download Connection is:: 8879 Kbps about 8.88 Mbps (tested with 12160 kB)
Download Speed is:: 1084 kB/s

I had Medicomm in SD at one time and they were crappy, always never got what i was paying for, i was suppose to have that 5mb package and i most of the time got only around 1 to 2mb sometimes even less then 1mb.  I have Midcontinent now and I love it alot better then Medicomm or Mediacrap.

Ya I have The 10 mb down 1 mb up VIP thing, and I get mostly around 8 mb down 600 up.

Whoh, that strange for you guys. I guess i have newer cables or something because after they sent me the config file i mostly get these speeds

i used to get like 7,500down and 400up, but then we asked them about the speed(since we were supposed to get a faster speed with the VIP deal) and they sent the config file. im lovin our speed now Smile im not sure why its slower for you guys though...
