Kind of an odd topic.. but lets see if there is someone who has done this before..

Useful information:
MySQL 5
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51 driver

Here is what I want to do.. I would like to Scan a bunch of forms and create .pdf with them.. Then port them into word..

I can do that already..  Here is the tricky part.. From word I would like to be able to query a database and have certain values filled out.. I know that you can use outlook to do this with genious connect. (Great program by the way)..  So I guess my real question is can Word connect to a database and if it can is there a way for it to pull values from that database?

If not any other ideas how to get this done?  How do companies print on custom forms to begin with?  There has to be some type of layout driver?

BTW the I can not create a new document..

excel & access can do it ,so if you can convert word documents into either one then it would work(dont think you can though),as for pullng values from the imported database you would have to use DTS and import it into a structured table so it can be queried........if thats what your asking.

swimmer word cant do it becuase of the way it saves files. but if you saved them in a .xml format like the new word does then you could do it real easy.
