i havent played day of defeat in a long time but when i tried to play today on any server it gets to "verifying resources" then the whole game crashes. Even on my favorites list of servers none of them work. CS and every other game i have in steam works fine. even day of defeat source works fine. its just regular day of defeat. Can anyone tell me why the game just crashes? the only thing i havent tried is start the game on a different pc.

sorry, i read through the game sections really quick i guess i must have missed seeing the DOD section. anyways. if need be mods can delete this thread. i found out what was wrong.

the problem was a map that i had. when i tested out the servers to see if they would work, they didnt because (stupid mistake) i had sorted the servers by map name and was going down the list of the same map. but i got it all fixed by deleting the map.   . the map was dod_veghel_b3 . i removed the map and re downloaded it from http://dodmaps.jolt.co.uk/index.jolt?command=list&game=Day%20of%20Defeat&filetype=Maps&listby=Downloads&fpage=8   whole thing works perfect.
