Well since so many switched to Wild Blue, our speeds have increased some. I sort of wish someone else would start up a sat like Wild Blue did.
Go Wild Blue.  thumbsup

Yep, it just comes down to money. If WB can make it there might be a satellite expansion. Terribly expen$ive business... evil1

If the gov't would loosen up the rules of domination of states and cities, more of us would be on DSL. I am so close to DSL it stinks.
And I hate storms. Worse than anything.

Out here in Nevada our Verizon phone company is a third world operation. They are still using old copper pole hung wire here so no DSL yet. Cable has been here 15 years but just recently upgraded so I could finally get 3000/256.

Up until satellite internet I paid $80 a month to have dialup. cry For me satellite was cheaper than dialup. :haha:

The reason, I had to rent a pair of wires over to an exchange with local AOL service. Try that for 10 year$..  angry5

Wow 3000/256 must be nice.
But AOL dial-up... well that would suck. And for them prices.

Yeah that does look pretty slow even for Dway.
You should be around 900-1200 D/L, and around 170-200 U/L.
Have you tried any early morning or late at night tests on this site?

You did leave a link and thats how I found it. Those other speeds,  they can never get " off-of-this-world-speeds" as we do. I originally started with a DirecPC PCI modem and one-way dish (1999) and upgraded to the DW4000 when it came available. Very good download speeds for both. The DW7000 seems faster even though the downloads are a bit slower. I think the faster upload makes it work that way but I never did any ping tests with the 4000 so I can't compare..
