im planning to move to mydestiny.net from icable.ph. after an IP migration done by icable, they couldnt seem to get things to work right anymore. I had connecion speeds of 600Kbps before and now i only get around 120 and it even goes down to 70 Kbps. could anyone give me some feedback regarding the speeds of mydestiny.net here in paranaque/betterliving area? i would appreciate it if you post both download and upload speeds.

Here's what I got so far on mydestiny.net

Get them to check the Signal-to-Noise (SNR) in your area in my area its below 30dB. A bad sign.

Bottom Line:: 4X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 40.96 sec
Tested from a 2992 kB file and took 119.702 seconds to complete
Download Diagnosis:: May need help : running at only 25.43 % of your hosts average (mydestiny.net)

Satelite? Well if that is satelite that would be normal for it ktest as Sparticus mentioned.  Very Happy
But if it is their cable, I would say it is not quite right.

taken just this morning .. but take note not all subscribers of myDestiny gets this kind of speed .. this is a bit slower compared to the other day that i've checked my bandwidth ..

also, their advertised speed is 512Kbps (uncapped) . so you can get as high as 512Kbps or lower than that (256Kbps should be the lowest) ..

Download Connection is:: 1448 Kbps about 1.4 Mbps (tested with 2992 kB)
Download Speed is:: 177 kB/s
