Recommended Tests

im planning to move to mydestiny.net from icable.ph. after an IP migration done by icable, they couldnt seem to get things to work right anymore. I had connecion speeds of 600Kbps before and now i only get around 120 and it even goes down to 70 Kbps. could anyone give me some feedback regarding the speeds of mydestiny.net here in paranaque/betterliving area? i would appreciate it if you post both download and upload speeds.

taken just this morning .. but take note not all subscribers of myDestiny gets this kind of speed .. this is a bit slower compared to the other day that i've checked my bandwidth ..

also, their advertised speed is 512Kbps (uncapped) . so you can get as high as 512Kbps or lower than that (256Kbps should be the lowest) ..

the maintenance crew attached this thing called "attenuator" on my modem ..
cable -->> attenuator -->> modem ..

they said that it'll somehow improve the connection ..

btw, there's a subscriber in Mandaluyong where his/her download speed is around 800+kB/s ..

just now .. anyway, speed i guess will depend on your location ..also, the problem that myDestiny is having is with regards to the illegal cable tapping which according them will have a factor in the speed that you're getting ..

hi guys. am sure you heard about the quake that took place somewhere between taiwan and philippines, before end of the year. well that was the reason most of us from manila could not connect nor test our link because internet was sooooo slow.

I think there were 6 submarine cables that were cut.

Well, i tested my connection today, and it is still slower (~50Kbps), than pre-quake.

Hope the speed gets back to normal or better.   

mydestiny on a sunday morning in manila isn't that bad.

me too.. im planning to move to mydestiny by nov. because i experience too slow connection speeds in smartbro.. hope mydestiny is best!
btw i live in front of camp crame..

what's the problem with destiny the last few days? DNS? international connection?

my speed is sooooo slow. it started only the other day. I use to get 2.1 Mbps.

I've experienced intermittent connection from thurs-sunday. fixed it after several times of reporting try their text hotline. ( got an immediate call though, in fairness ). my first intermittent experience ( aside from fiber optics problem ) after almost 2 years in destiny.
