I just ran another test.  From what I have read,  I understand that the upgrade to the 7000 wouldn't be worth it expecially with a 15 month extension.  Has anyone out there actually seen an increase in speeds with the 7000.  I appreciate any help.

Your connection is: 1438 Kbps or 1.44 Mbps
You Downloaded at: 176 kB/s
You are running: 25 times faster than 56K and can Download 1 megabyte in 5.82 second(s)
Member Ident: CompID:6345150441
Test Time:: 2006/10/01 - 3:10pm
Test Browser and OS info: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; Hotbar 4.1.4.0; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727)
Test ID: IM8RU930S (if this is a screenshot go to testmy.net to see if this is fake)
Diagnosis ^info^: Awesome! 20% + : 37.34 % faster than the average for host (direcpc.com)
This was tested from a 2992 kB file and took 17.047 seconds to complete

If you are getting speeds like that, there is no reason for you to upgrade unless you want faster uploads and more stable ping times.  Other than that, it's not worth the upgrade, esp if you go the 15mth contract route.

Ghostmaster,
Thank you for the come back.  I don't know what stable ping times mean?  Would you elaborate!
