 Very Happy    I ran another test today and I am still getting a pretty good test.  I don't think I will order the upgrade to the 7000.  I don't like the additional 15 months.

Download Stats ..:::
Download Connection is:: 1459 Kbps about 1.46 Mbps (tested with 2992 kB)
Download Speed is:: 178 kB/s
Tested From:: http://testmy.net/ (Server 1)
Test Time:: 2006/10/02 - 6:02pm
Bottom Line:: 25X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 5.75 sec
Tested from a 2992 kB file and took 16.797 seconds to complete
Download Diagnosis:: Awesome! 20% + : 39.35 % faster than the average for host (direcpc.com)

dont even waste your time calling them, thats about the fastest upload ive seen on sat ive seen here. thank your lick starts your download is good.

Pretty much the only advantage or the 7000 is the uploads.  One other thing, make sure that you run the 2992 test TWICE to get the most accurate results.  Sometimes it will over calculate your download because Hughes is such a bursty system.  You can also try a larger test file:

LIke dlewis23 said, that is par for a 6000. The down is not bad either, actually pretty good for  6:02pm.
And you have not tweaked it yet either? If not leave it there, that is fine.
