Its a whopper of a file...Over a gig, but its a damn good demo...

You can play online with the demo, and the game is incredible..

New fun futuristic cars, weapons, flyiing vehicles...  icon_thumright

Wow, thanks for the link im definately going to download. I was a huge bf2 fan i was into the competitions and such. I was actually in a very high ranking clan also but i gave that up a few months ago.

I found a torrent and i was dling at 1000kB/s in bitcometO_O thats insanely fast for me.

Ya apparently EA sucks. lol. It wont let me play the game. I get errors out the wazoo. Even the link you sent me dlewis it didnt work. So im giving up on the game until they realease it i guess.  Twisted Evil

I'm running x64 XP(which it even says hasn't been tested), and I haven't had a problem with it...

Make sure your Direct X is up to date.

You said that you downloaded it off of a Torrent...Now, if the others with that file had Corrupted files, then the files you downloaded were also corrupted... Neutral This is pretty common with the idiots out there that keep bad files and redistribute them... Rolling Eyes
So, if you want the "real" file then I would download it off of a reliable link instead of a torrent..yea it will take longer, but at least the file will be good and installable... ;)

Now, if after downloading off of a reliable link, (Like Electronic Arts) and the file still doesn't install...then you might not have a setup that can even play it...Check the specs for what the game requires...
Or, maybe you're just having problems with the WinBlows OS...Lord knows I've had my share...
Or, maybe your memory and or Mobo is going bad...if it has too many errors then every-other file you try to download and save will be corrupted...I've had that problem before too.
Of course overclocking has a tendency of pushing stuff till it gives out...LOL  :haha:  Twisted Evil

Wow, I just tried that link that dlewis posted.... 3.26 MB/s  Very Happy  Nice Link!

And I tend to agree with Muff!n....I see the Torrent as the possible problem.
EA Downloader worked well for me...Downloaded over 1.5 MB/s for me...Not as fast as dlewis' link, but fast enough.

I downloaded it from 4 places. The torrent was my first try. I thought it was corrupt as well. Then i tried another and another and another. Nothing worked.  angry5

What kind of video card do you have?

ATI or NVIDIA?  Perhaps you have a driver issue...

I have had sound issues before that caused crashes..
I had problems with my X-Fi Platinum, but it was fixed by going to creative labs and doing the auto update of the drivers.

If your video card is O/C'd, turn it down to stock and try it.  I have a problem with it crashing if I O/C my card.  I can run on highest settings without O/C'ing it, so I just leave it be.


Who has installed it???  We should get a game going one night...Meet up at a server..

NVIDIA GEFORCE 6600 is my video card. Sound blaster 24 bit is my audio card and im going to try and update my drivers right now. I never O/C'd my card so i dont think thats a problem.
