except worse than most people... i had 24Kbps..
i called and called, never can get cable internet,
called about DSL cant get that

but we went with wireless high speed.
512/512 with 1mb speed burst, might not sound fast but its way faster than that 24Kbps stuff we used to have.

Ya i agree those speeds may sound slow but it makes a huge difference for dial up users. Me i never had a problem with dial up. mainly because i had it for a few months then jumped right on the 6meg plan with Comcast. But my Comcast is so unreliable its always out, slow page times etc. anyways best of luck with the new connection
