okay wat does it mean when u start up ur PC and it says "a duplicate name already exists on the server".....also i can tell that i get logged out of my msn and get totally shut off of the internet for a good 30 seconds......i'm guessin some hacker has me or else i got one mean F#@&in virus....any thoughts?

okay done that but i still get the same message when i log in WINDOWS ERROR - a duplicate names exists on network....i also got one that said .NET FRAMEWORK ENITIALIZATION ERROR......i forget wat the rest said but this is wat it says...and my msn frequently is loggin me out...almost as if someone is usin my S#!t in the back ground without me knowin

It depends on where you are logging in from... is this in a work environment?  It could be that the active directory system has 2 computers with the same name.. this is unusual but it does happen from time to time...  Most of the time if you try and log on using the same user name / password unless specified in an active directory rule it will allow the log on to occur.   So that is why I am thinking it is machine name..

The .Net problem could be a failure to load the .net framework...  I believe that this is used for Microsoft Office along with other programs that are installed in a network environment... If you are getting this at home try updating to the latest version of .net.
