well the tech from Comcast just left my house and said the reason for the uncapp is to compete with verizon..which is still an hour away.and to compete with dsl 8mb/s..packages.i was thinking something was wrong when i ran test any where from 10mb/s to 25mb/s 25mb/s of course from speak easy..10mb/s to 15mb/s from testmy.net .im just happy uncapped and speed burst to top..

You are not uncapped...no modem is "uncapped", You have just been given a better performance tier (or bin). Enjoy your new faster speeds nonetheless....

That's awesome. The only thing that I wouldn't like is there is no definite speed. The speeds vary.

thats what the tech said there is no definate speed..but none the less its a good thing..

that is an interesting little diddy.. Have you seen an slow down like under heavy usage periods? The entire point of the caps is to keep bandwidth usage under check and to make sure that there is enough on each node.. I will have to check it out the next time i am at home..
