While searching for a new firewall i found this one 'Comodo' personal firewall, seems stable and not a resource hog.

I  can't say if it slows down my connection because my connection is flaky anyway,
but someone that is thinking of changing firewalls or just likes to test different ones can download Comodo here    http://personalfirewall.comodo.com/

I been using it for about a month with no problems. I do shut it off when I am online gaming every time something new launches in the game it would stop the game until you ok it.

Thanks basic...I've heard a few good comments and though I'm ok with my F/W...never hurts to try another.  smiley

It *does* look good swimmer, I've heard of it, but it's gained a lot of fans more recently....I sure did want to test-drive it! As to depending on XP's firewall? I doubt that, I just failed to read the home-page...
http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/

Which I *now* see has this:
"System Requirements
Windows 2000 (32 bit ALL)
Windows XP (32 bit ALL)
Windows 2003 (32 bit ALL)
64 MB available RAM
32 MB of available free hard disk space " uglystupid2

It's clearly there, I just jumped to conclusions! That's how I get most of my exercise 2funny
