...i think I might have mentioned this before, or not...I dont remember.....but what about having a for sale/trade/buy section here at tmn - where members can sell/trade/buy electronics from other people ;)

I agree, the only drawback would be bad deals between members which could cause friction.

Other than that i mean its a good idea... but if peoples trades go bad, they might start blaming CA3LE and flaming.

Idk it has its ups and downs. Not too sure if the downs outweigh the ups though.

Amen to that..at least on ebay you could advertise to a lot more people, you could just work out private deals on here if you wanted through PM's *shrug*

Never had a N64. The SNES the last one I messed with, and mine was messed up, so I needed most everything that came with it. Works fine.  Very Happy

i know there are ups and downs to it, but simply have a disclaimer where testmy.net has nothing to do with it - that way, its off the hook if anything happens......and just use common sense, trade with well known members not with ppl with 2 posts

OK, hopefully a good example.
I sell you something for computers. It leaves my house in working order. You recieve it not working. We flame on the forum from it. (outside of that section also). Not proper of course. But that is human nature. There are no built in guarantees like buyer credits and such like there is in ebay where you can put up bad credits or what ever. (you can tell by my terminology I don't ebay much  Laughing )
Anyway now you have upset members.

If we traded on ebay, we would more than likely not even know we were on the same forum.  wink

But I guess the same risk comes from PM's, so never mind.  icon_scratch

I think I conveyed that right.

That Intellevision was state of the art in its day. It was the first 16-BIT system ever for gaming. I bought one for my Kids in 1979.
