Just make sure the camera does not have a plastic optics, you want glass. And for the price of that it will most likey have plastic.

Check out Fuji cameras. I've had two now and when I upgrade again I'll get another one

I have the Samsung Digimax S600 and love it.  Takes excellent pics i think i paid around 150 for it.  Cannon is another really good brand.  5 Meg pix is good but its not that much more for a 6 Megapix My Dad has a Cannon Power Shot 5 Megapix.

One thing is if your not an expert in photos then a 5 or 6 will be just fine.  of course the higher the megapix the better it will be for blowing up your images.

Be sure and buy rechargeables for it. That is a great price for that. You won't be unhappy.  Smile

Yeah 5.1 megs  blows up great. I do 8 1/2 x 11 +  no problem.
