Try clicking on send/recieve. And do a good cleaning. Cache, defrag, and such.  Wink

i THINK my corporate firewall had it blocked for some reason.  I could get on it at home, but not work.

They're becoming Nazi's these days.  I complained and now it's working again.

Hi, all. I'm new.

Hughesnet is down for upgrading and I think they bit off more than they can chew. I haven't been able to get my Hughesnet email since yesterday.  Shocked

It's not your computer, so don't worry about that.

I am at a loss for words over it. I work from my comp, so needless to say, I can't access anything. I've been trying to find out what is going on online for a few hours. I even spoke with a representative in a chat session earlier today who told me to give it two hours. I have. Still down.

They told me it would be fixed by 7:30 AM this morning. Then, it was 8:00 AM. Then, 11:00 AM. Well, you get the picture. It's still down. I could work with the delay if they would just be honest about it and stop telling me to try again at this time or that time. It would seem more appropriate to set a time and abide by it.

If I try to log into the webmail, I can't get anything outside of "bad server request," and various other error messages on their part.

I guess we just keep trying and maybe we'll have it soon.

I know when I was on hughes there was a way to go directly to the account, instead of going through outlook or such. So maybe that woud help a bit. Ask for the direct route maybe. Just a thought. And again, welcome aboard.

Laurawrites

Welcome to the forum  Welcome!

Until a year ago or more I always had my email with my ISP, the first with Bell Atlantic (dial-up) and then DirecPC (satellite). There were problems back then with the satellite email (formerly DirecPC then to DirecWay and now Hughes) but they don't supply the service directly, they use an email service. So after discussion on this I decided to do the same, use an email service, the result is not one problem since. Also if you by chance switch ISP's your email is done with the former. As I noteded ISP's, 3 of my old ISP's no longer exist.

So this is the best advice I can give you icon_thumright
