Recently hooked up a Linksys Wireless system to my 2nd PC, kept the 1st pc Hard wired.  I did a Download test on the #1 PC and got 1382 Kbps and here is what I got on the one connected to the wireless connection:  Don't understand what is going on.  I ran it twice and came up with the same stats.

Download Connection is:: 46202 Kbps about 46.2 Mbps (tested with 12160 kB)
Download Speed is:: 5640 kB/s
Tested From:: http://testmy.net/ (Server 1)
Test Time:: 2007/03/22 - 4:43pm
Bottom Line:: 806X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 0.18 sec
Tested from a 12160 kB file and took 2.156 seconds to complete
Download Diagnosis:: Awesome! 20% + : 4291.83 % faster than the average for host (direcpc.com)

that is cached. clear your temp internet files and test again. =)

I cleared temp files, Cookies and History.  Went to Control Panel (delete files to make computer run faster.  Did that and re-test and here are results:  This is crazy.

Download Speed is:: 5807 kB/s

Test Time:: 2007/03/22 - 6:13pm
Bottom Line:: 830X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 0.18 sec
Tested from a 12160 kB file and took 2.094 seconds to complete
Download Diagnosis:: Awesome! 20% + : 4421.86 % faster than the average for host (direcpc.com)
