Don't know, but it's growing on an old Red Oak stump that the tree died maybe 15 years ago and I cut a couple years later.

So what's the specs (limits) on a crappy camera? Your Kodak was first sold in July of 2003 and has a max resolution of 2032 x 1536. My DCS-S40 is 4.1megapixel and I believe came out in Feb 2005 and has a max res of 2304 x 1728.
Now is it crappy by price, I paid $149.99 at Office Max the beginning of Jan 2006 for a trip  and it included a 256 meg card for that price. I do have a HP 2megapixel but is 3 times the size of my Sony but it takes good pics like this one.

I guess my definition of a crappy camera is a lack of manual features, It took me almost a month with this camera to find out that you hold the button half way down before taking a picture to focus it, and thats all you can change on this camera, focus. But unless you needed drastic pictures, you could touch them up with photo editing software.

I know exactly what you mean. My first was a 1megapixel HP. Steadiness still counts though.

Something caught my eye in the woods.
It looks like Laetiporus sulphureus to me found in Europe and North America  it's very fond of dying Oak , no cure but to cut and burn ,
if it is Laetiporus sulphureus it could be edible when cooked , BUT I would not take that chance , also know as "Chicken of the Woods" , yeah I would be a chicken in the woods on that one  evil6
