wow is EVIL!!...i don't personally play any game...except the games of life Smile (not the board game) anyway...everyone (4 different people) i know that has played that evil wow S#!t has lost all touch with reality...where human contact isn't important to them anymore...they get to the point where they believe their character is real and speak of them in first person...yep the south park episode was a slight exaggeration but not by far...the black circles around the eyes...the facial sores...those are real (makes u look like a zombie)...and when they do manage to get away from it...it must call their name in their sleep and lures them back slowly...

yep it's EVIL!!!...don't start...it's like heroin...it'll suck u to the bottom and keep u there till everything is gone

and anyone playing that can't escape...get help from a 12 step program...i'm serious...remove it from ur computer...destroy the disc...cancel ur server subscription...burn the box...permanently erase all emails concerning wow

and that's my quarters worth...

Can't really argue with yah there. I do have an addiction problem though lol....forums. cheesy

I agree with momma T for certain people. There is one of my old friends that got kicked from school, his job and his house because of that addiction. I also know a 23 y/o guy that got so sucked in that his friends, even those who don't play WoW, would call him by his character name. Then again, some people play occasionally but don't develop a dependence. Personally, I know that I would develop such a dependence and thus I have never played and I do not plan on ever doing so.

sad about the guy who got booted from job/ and reality.  undecided

i can control my gaming so i dont worry much, but i know that if i start playing a game or soemthing too much i just stop being on that system (pc, ps2 etc.) for a while then i dont play it as much because i am too used to being outside or something  Smile

Yah while I did play RS for many years, I didn't let it control my life. I was still *gasp* sociable, and I usually played it with my RL friends whenever I did play. Plus the game was so repetitive I couldn't really play it more than an hour or 2 at a time anyway. uglystupid2

The older I get the less I get sucked in. I used to bad, but with a wife and kids and so much to do. Its just not as much fun to play video games. I still get into GTA type games pretty well. I like pistol whipping ol ladies..... Hey you gotta get it out somewhere.  :haha:

I dont condone violence... dont hit any little old people, or anyone for that matter. Unless its a video game then beat that ass good.  wink cheesy
