Who and why?!
well, you posted in the roadrunner thread, so i have ascertained your ISP would be time warner cable.  They can be reached @  (800)617.4311    after they try and say everything is ok, ask them simply to renew your IP address, say it has been a while,  ( because it has ) .  Security reasons.

Because, this will route you differently to the planet, more specifically testmy.net.

Hi Everyone!

I am new to this site and I decided to sign up because the site said Broadband Experts so if you guys can't help me out with my situation, no one can.

I am extremely happy with my download speeds. However, I hate my upload and that’s why I am switching to Verizon Fios 20/5 Internet in about 2 weeks simply because 5 megabit upload speeds would work really well for me.

I currently have an uncapped SB5101 SurfBoard Modem and im still doing about 25-30,000Kbps according to [site.has.been.banned.for.spamming] which I believe to be impressive. Keep in mind that I was only to achieve this speed using a variety of download boosters and web accelerators and tweaking both the internet and my PC for optimal performance.

Spare me the legal issues and I am hoping that someone here can tell me how to softmod my cable modem without having to buy anything and open up the modem since it belongs to my ISP anyways. I need step by step instructions for a dummy or baby because my time is really limited.

I am pretty sure there is a simple easy way to do this according to all the geeks showing off there uncapped download speeds on YouTube.

I have NYC Time Warner Cable Road Runner and here is what my peak speed is thus far. I have the Standard Speed with them which is 10Mbps / 512Kbps with PowerBoost. Please send all or any reply's to my message box here or my email address. Thank You

Well, I'm glad to hear from you finally, but as you know, uncappin is not exactly legit, and this site does not support , nor do we discuss modding , uncapping, or the theft of bandwidth.

I urge you to not post , or discuss anything to do with the subjects above.

 Thanks Smile

The fastest path on a race track is one where you turn the least.
Example of a Hyperplane: a three dimensional plane in the fourth dimension.
RoadRunner advertised = (10Mb?/1Mb?)  Cap at = (10.24Mb/1.024Mb) Best = (9808kb/976kb)  Avg. = (8000+kb/900+kb)
Internet caps found at http://192.168.100.1/diagnostics_page.html Terayon modem password "icu4at!"
