Halo 2 Vista HELP!
«

Ok, so I bought halo 2 vista, installed it on my pc and everything was working great. I plugged in my xbox 360 controller and for a while it was working perfectly. However, at the most random times, the right side of the controller starts to mess up. ( I press B, acts as the button A, I press A, acts as X, Right trigger moves my characters aimer left WTF?) It does this for about 5 seconds and then fixes itself. It's SO annoying. I know it's not the controller because I have two and I've tried both of them and they both do the same thing. I've tried switching the USB port the wireless gaming receiver was plugged into, but to no avail. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Well if something was interfering with it, it would also be screwing with my 360. I changed the video settings and seemed to stop. Lets hope it stays that way...

are you using a wireless controller with your pc somehow? i thought only wired 360 controllers can go on the pc ? if it is wired only something in the configuration has to setup wrong as mine works fine wired that i tried at my friends house.

It's wireless, Microsoft sells a "wireless gaming receiver" for 20 dollars, not bad. But yeah the video settings had something to do with it... i have no idea why though.

cool man but what do you think of halo 2 on pc compared to xbox ? xbox got destroyed by a bunch of retards and little kids along with bungie making it 2 easy to play( basically for people who suck) and it gets boring. i only played it for a little but the graphics are sweet as hell and it runs way better.
i have to check out some features next time unless i buy vista soon

Well it's pretty sweet as long as your PC can handle it, the recommended Vista rating is 5.0 but you need at least a 3.0 to run it. I Think it's a lot better because of the dedicated servers, and nobody has host (unless they create the game). And the graphics are a lot clearer on the pc version.

the control set up for the keyboard is very dumb. This game doesn't have a PC feeling to it. I perfer Keyboard and Mouse than a controller Anyday. But this game is just a direct port from XBox to PC. I just hope the upgrade the game to make it more PC like it should be.
