was up
how is every one

OK I have exactly what it says up top.
(something to do with my temper and crappy
controllers>>>for people that are insanely abusive<<<)

Otherwise i have nothing bad to say about saitek

To the issue
x45 joy stick is the master of the x45 system
joy plugs into pc with usb

x52 flight stick is the master of the x52 system
flightstick plugs into pc with usb

any other combo and I couldn't do this

bottom line
In bf2 / options / controls / aircraft or heli
I set up the joy and get axis 0 and 1 for pitch & roll
and all is good

(except to calibrate i drilled holes in the side
and glued an extention to the back of the pots after loosening
so i .........)
Sorry

When I plug in my x52 flight & set the throttle
axis in in bf2 / options / controls / aircraft or heli
I get axis 2

Heres the catch all looks fine until I fly

What I get is a roll with throttle it actually
combines the roll and throttle

I have x45 software installed
not x52 due to, if I remember right, bad bad stuff
It does not see the x52

In the win /control panel /gaming config
I see both with all options available

I thought 8 months ago I saw a program called 2joy
or joy2 that did this either for bf2 or gta san Andreas

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPERECIATED

ps; Anyone no why or how windows knows to put up
a calibration screen for the x52 and not the x45
without any software..possably some hard code or...)
thanks steyr223

There is no calibration for the x52, you just have to unplug it, and plug it back in, and it auto calibrates..When you install the programming software, you can adjust the dead zones, but it auto calibrates the center spot.

I'm not sure if you can run the x45 and x52 at the same time..That could be the problem.

I've used both of them, and had no problems with either in 32 and 64 bit windows.

If you don't install the saitek programming software, you may have problems getting it to work properly with BF2.

You must install the drivers first, then install the programming software.  During the programming software install, you will need to accept the prompts, and install the "magic mouse" software.

OK short and sweet

x45 joystick doesn't calibrate at all. but U got the dead zones right

x52 flightstick in win /control panel /gaming config b4 saitek software or drivers installed does calibrate

i didn't mean any confusion forget all about calibration

what I'm asking about is if anyone knows  a way, method, program
that can l;et me use only the x45 joystick(not the flight stick)
and x52 flightstick (not the joystick)  at the same time

to the second part yes
Ive used both to
thats why i have one of each

and to the last part I'll try the software for the x52

thanks

steyr223
but i still say theres an app out there that lets u use 2 joy sticks
