I cant drop the business package. The internet goes through my employer. They control all the billing and stuff like that. I just would hope that they increase the speeds of the standard package sometime soon. The upload is really what kills me when i have to upload stuff from my home back to the office. I barely get 300Kbps upload

we used to have the 8/512 here in northwest ohio
right now my laptop and my desktop are getting 10-12k down and 800 up
it wasn't like that until we went out of town and I hooked my laptop up to a 20/2 connection in winona lake, in...
wonder if I brought some speed back with me lol.
I have cleared my cache on both computers..so wonder what is going on?
I haven't received any emails or anything regarding the upgrade. i thought it was going to be a 10/2 or a 15/2 connection.

I still cannot believe that those bastards just left everyone else at 3Mbps down and 384Kbps up. They more than double the speeds for the premium people at no extra cost and leave me out in the dry. They probably just assumed that the standard package people are too stupid to even know that other people got a speed increase. Its not advertised anywhere on there site at all. Share the bandwidth people!!!!!!

Funny since cable DOCSIS 2.0 isnt even able to go to 45 let alone 100mb. DOCSIS Downstream Upstream 1.x 42.88 (38) Mbit/s 10.24 (9) Mbit/s Euro 57.20 (51) Mbit/s 10.24 (9) Mbit/s 2.0 42.88 (38) Mbit/s 30.72 (27) Mbit/s 3.0 +480 Mbit/s +120 Mbit/s All though it would be nice have the 3.0 but it was just released in 2006 and i doubt that HSC companies will speed the money to upgrade. get rid of buisness unless you need it... me just signed up for it in buffalo 3 months ago 29.99 and premier 39.99 for 2 years i never known the speeds would ever hit this high .i was on buisness dsl for a long time paying what you paying now 7.1meg connection...
